  1. I was interested in your two sets of photographs - self portrait and Michelle. Obviously, not knowing either subject, all I could see was the images you chose to publish, and I was intrigued by the differences. Both of them were young women with longish hair, pleasant looking and well lit, but the Michelle images seem to be very much on the surface, showing us how she chooses to appear (how you chose to pose her?), while your self-portraits seem far more introspective and invite questioning and wondering on the part of the viewer. Presented in another form, the self-portraits ASK what you think, while the other set ANSWER the question not asked. Asking invites participation on the part of the viewer, while telling merely asks you to pay attention.
I very much enjoyed you Vonnegut quote.
